He’s been the head coach for more than 20 years, and is a part of the tradition at Lehigh. He, as well as the rest of the coaching staff, offers good insight and perspective on and off the field.
2016 (SENIOR SEASON)
Co-captain who started all 18 games on the backline…earned third team All-Patriot League honors…assisted on the game-winning goal against Boston U (10/22) for his lone only of the year…logged 90-plus minutes in 12 different contests…named a Senior CLASS All-American…earned Academic All-Patriot League honors…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2015 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Co-captain who earned first team All-Patriot League, third team All-Region and Academic All-Patriot League honors…anchored the Lehigh defense that secured 10 shutouts throughout the season, good for a 0.45 shutouts per game average that ranked 17th in all of Division I…earned a spot on the Patriot League All-Tournament team after leading Lehigh to its second-ever Patriot League Championship…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2014 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Strong sophomore campaign in which he was named second team All-Patriot League…started all 19 games and played a full 90-plus minutes in all but one contest…was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions (9/29, 11/10) after helping Lehigh to a win over nationally-ranked American and a victory at Holy Cross that secured a postseason home game for the Mountain Hawks…earned the team’s Coaches Award at the end of the season…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2013 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Started all 17 games as a key piece in the Lehigh backfield…blocked a corner kick that was headed for the net in the 58th minute against Loyola to help Lehigh to its first Patriot League win of the season…assisted a goal at first-place Navy…played 90+ minutes in all but one game…named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH
Worley is a defender with great range, presence and leadership abilities… was captain for Muhlenberg HS… named to all-division team three times… five year captain for FC Lehigh Valley United… LVU has won six consecutive EPYSA state championships… LVU won USYS Region 1 Championships in 2010 and 2012… led the Eastern PA Olympic Development Program to a regional championship in 2012…will enroll in the College of Arts & Sciences.
