Lehigh University’s Taylor Gym offers a wide variety of fitness and wellness programs for the Lehigh community, including Group Exercise Classes taught by professional instructors who teach all over the Lehigh Valley. Our goal is to make quality fitness programming accessible and inclusive for all Lehigh community members.

Registration is open to Lehigh students, faculty, staff, spouses, and retirees (all must be current Lehigh ID card holders). Class schedule is subject to change at any time based on instructor availability, attendance, and facility availability.

All registration costs are non-refundable and support the payment of all professional fitness instructors' wages and program equipment needs. Sneakers are required for all fitness classes, except yoga and pilates.
Class Descriptions
Les Mills BODYPUMP™
The original LES MILLS™ barbell class, will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! Great bodies aren't born—they are transformed using the proven BODYPUMP™ formula: THE REP EFFECT™, a breakthrough in resistance workout training.
Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, you'll burn fat, gain strength, and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning. BODYPUMP™ is one of the world's fastest ways to get in shape as it challenges all of your major muscle groups while you squat, press, lift, and curl.
Yoga Flow
Experience the benefits of yoga through a sequence of dynamic stretching and strengthening postures that will bring you towards a deeper awareness of your physical body. By matching breath to movement, you will begin to find more balance in all aspects of your life. All levels are welcome.
Spin
Spin is a great way to stay in shape and burn calories fast. It's an intense, vigorous workout where we ride to the beat of powerful music. Spinning helps tone muscles while building the cardiovascular system. Participation in the Spin program will enhance your speed, strength, and stamina, improve your overall physical health, and increase your caloric burn. Come and ride with us!
Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a challenging style of yoga designed to build strength, flexibility, stamina, and balance. The core of each class is based upon a vinyasa flow that includes a series of sun salutations, balance-challenging standing postures, and intense floor stretching. Each movement is synchronized to your breath and will help focus on body awareness.
Barre
Barre is a high-tempo, low-impact strength workout incorporating barre-inspired moves, weight training, and mat work. This class utilizes combination movement patterns in a targeted, rhythmic progression. Tone, sculpt, and lengthen from head to toe.
These exercises are performed with precision and concentration for ultimate results. Its superpower is the dynamic integration of upper and lower body movements set to an eclectic and energizing playlist.
Pilates
Pilates is a low-impact, mind-body exercise that uses a mat to perform body-weight exercises and movements that target specific areas of the body. The practice focuses on improving strength, balance, coordination, and posture through a series of short, precise movements that require control.
