Lehigh Wraps up Regular Season at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Lehigh men's and women's swimming and diving closed out the regular season at the Bucknell Invitational Saturday afternoon at Kinney Natatorium. 

The Mountain Hawks will once again return to Lewisburg when they compete in the Patriot League Championships, Feb. 19-22. 

MEN'S RECAP

Lehigh had an eight-nine-ten punch in the 100-yard breaststroke. Carson Morris led the way for an eighth-place finish (58.57), Connor Goodyear was ninth (58.60) and Tristan Ronayne finished in 10th (59.63). Two places behind Ronayne was Timmy Norris, who came in 12th with a time of 1:00.04. 

The Mountain Hawks also had an eight-nine-ten punch in the 100-yard freestyle. Jack Deppe led the way in eighth place (46.50), Davis Woerner finished in ninth (46.72) and Jarden Rabadam tallied a 10th-place mark (46.79). Woerner also had a top 10 finish in the 200-yard IM as he punched in a 10th-place mark with a time of 1:56.02. 

Deppe had Lehigh's best finish in the men's side, tallying a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard IM (4:03.13). 

In the 50-yard freestyle, Aaron Williams finished in sixth (20.86), Deppe came in eighth (21.13), Rabadam came in 11th (21.53) and Ben Kisker swam for a 12th-place finish (21.55). 

Two Mountain Hawks finished in the top 11 in the 500-yard freestyle as Alfredo Figueroa came in ninth (4:43.76) and Samuel Stone tallied an 11th-place mark (4:43.76). 



WOMEN'S RECAP

Junior Mairin Ludwig had Lehigh's best finish of the day, coming in third place in the 100-yard freestyle (51.83) and the 400-yard IM (4:03.13). 

In the 100-yard backstroke, Lehih had a four-five-six punch with Claire Coughlin leading the pack with a fourth-place finish (57.46), Clara Moschella tallying a fifth-place mark (57.91) and Willa Werwaiss coming in sixth place (58.27).

Werwaiss also finished with a fifth-place mark in the 500-yard freestyle (5:11.64) and a sixth-place mark in the 100-yard backstroke (58.27). 
 
The Mountain Hawks had a nine-ten punch in the 200-yard IM, with Giulia Beverini coming in ninth (2:10.25) and Coughlin coming in 10th place (1:10.54). 

Coughlin also had a 10th-place mark in the 200-yard IM (2:10.54). Teammate Monica Wintermute finished ahead of Coughlin in the 200-yard IM, tallying a seventh-place mark 2:08.58.
