Point scorer in the pole vault at the 2008 Patriot League Outdoor Championship … finished second in the pole vault at the 2008 Lehigh – Lafayette indoor and outdoor duals and the 2008 Lehigh Games … posted personal records in the pole vault in 2006-07 recording a vault of 13’ 9” at the Patriot League indoor championships and a vault of 14’ 1” at the 2007 Patriot League outdoor championships… was named to Academic Honor Roll in freshman season.

 

Aversa on Utesch: “Coach Matt is a fun, helpful guy. Joking around when it is acceptable, but serious when necessary. A great coach, he has helped me improve in many ways.”

 

Personal: Son of Felice … has three brothers, Robert (23), Anthony (18) and Thomas (16) and a sister, Gina (14)
