BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's and women's swimming and diving teams will close out the dual meet season on Saturday with a matchup against Drexel at home at 1 p.m. inside Jacobs Pool. Saturday will also mark the final career home meet for the eight Lehigh senior swimmers.

The Mountain Hawks are carrying momentum into Saturday after coming off strong performances in last weekend's road trip to Patriot League foe Bucknell. The women posted a landmark victory as they defeated the Bison for the first time in 16 years with a 166.5-133.5 win. The men came up short in a 156-123 loss, but finished with seven total victories in a highly-competitive meet.

Drexel is coming off a home sweep of Georgetown last Saturday where the Dragons set multiple pool records for both the men and women in the process. The men compiled 10 total wins in a 160-113 win over the Hoyas, while the Drexel women posted 11 wins in their 166-126 victory over Georgetown.

The Lehigh men enter Saturday's meet with a record of 4-4 on the season and a record of 2-1 in non-league matchups. The LU women roll into Saturday with an overall record of 5-2 this season and a non-league record of 2-0. At Jacobs Pool this season, the men are 1-1 while the women are 2-0.

Both the Drexel men's and women's teams roll into Bethlehem on a wave of momentum built up throughout the season. The men own a record of 7-1 on the year, including a record of 3-0 on the road, and have won their last four dual meets. The women enter Saturday as winners of their last eight duals as they own a record of 8-1 on the season, with a 1-1 record on the road.

The Lehigh women own a 15-11 advantage over Drexel in the all-time series, which dates back to the 1977-78 season. The Drexel men hold the advantage over Lehigh with a 15-10 series record dating back to the first meeting in the 1981-82 season. The two schools split last season's meeting in Philadelphia with Lehigh winning the women's meet, 182-117, and Drexel claiming the win on the men's side, 194-105.

Saturday marks the end of the regular season for the Mountain Hawks as they will return to the pool for the Patriot League Championships on February 15-18 at Bucknell University.
