Lehigh wins all five bouts in morning session at EIWAs

After wrestling all season at 165 pounds, junior Brian LaMay challenged for and won the starting job at 184. Wrestling up two weight classes LaMay exhilarated a pro-Lehigh crowd with a pair of takedowns in a 6-3 upset over No. 4 seed Doran Heist of Brown. Paul Weibel wrapped up the morning session with a 7-2 win over
Andrew Rizzi, Cory Cooperman, Derek Zinck, Travis Frick and Jon Trenge all had first round byes but will wrestle in the night session.
Action continues Friday night with the quarterfinal rounds and pigtail consolations. All ten Lehigh wrestlers are still alive in the main bracket. Bouts get underway at 6:00 from Alumni Hall.
