Why Lehigh? “Lehigh is perfect because of its strong academics and rich wrestling tradition.  Between great coaches and a competitive wrestling room my dream of becoming a national champion is now possible.”

In 2003-04: Ranked as high as No. 3 at one point, injuries hampered him at times but he still managed an impressive 21-8 record on the season…had an outstanding performance at the Buckeye Duals at Ohio State, racking up three pins in three matches, wrestling for only a combined 4:11…gutty performance in EIWA semis as he battled through an injury during the match to make the finals…chose to default as his NCAA bid was already secured…finished one win shy of earning his second straight All-American placement

In 2002-03:  Won EIWA Championship at 157...placed fourth at Midlands...had only one regular season loss against collegiate competition, and won 26 in a row over college opponents…one of three Lehigh freshmen All-Americans in the last 24 seasons.

In 2001-02:  Deferred his eligibility… finished third at the Junior World Trials and fifth at the University Nationals in the spring… placed third at the West Virginia and East Stroudsburg Opens… finished second at the Penn State Open… won four of six matches at Midlands.

In secondary school: Ranked number two nationally at 152 pounds and won a Junior National Freestyle title beating Zach Esposito of Blair… three-time Pennsylvania placewinnner… had a record of 42-1 as a senior placing second… set a District I mark for career wins with a 158-18 record… National Cadet Freestyle Champion (age 14-16).
