Dillon Finalizes Coaching Staff Ahead of 2026-27 Season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lawrence White Head Coach of Men's Wrestling Brad Dillon '04 has finalized the Mountain Hawks' coaching staff for the 2026-27 season. Assistant coaches Zac Rey '12 and Vincenzo Joseph have been promoted, with Rey elevated to Associate Head Coach and Joseph moving into a full-time assistant position. Three-time All-American Michael McGee joins the staff as an assistant coach.
"Retaining Zac and Cenzo was my top priority," Dillon said. "It has been incredibly rewarding to watch Zac develop into one of the premier recruiters in the country; he builds deep connections with our student-athletes and infuses every room with energy and positivity. Similarly, Cenzo fit in seamlessly from day one at Lehigh, bringing a likable demeanor combined with experience at numerous top-notch programs. He is organized, excellent technically, and an elite workout partner."
Rey, a 2011 NCAA Champion and three-time All-American, enters his ninth season on the Lehigh coaching staff. He was recently inducted into the EIWA Hall of Fame. One of the most accomplished heavyweights in Lehigh wrestling history, Rey works with wrestlers across all weight classes, but specializes in the heavyweights. Lehigh has now had an EIWA finalist at 285 in eight consecutive EIWA Tournaments with Rey on staff and 10 of the last 11 overall.
Lehigh wrestlers have won 13 individual EIWA titles over the last three seasons, a testament to Rey's versatility. He has worked tirelessly with Luke Stanich who has won EIWA titles and earned All-America honors at 125 and 141 in his first two seasons. Rey also helped coach Stanich to a U20 World title in August 2025 in Bulgaria.
Joseph, a two-time NCAA Champion at Penn State, is in his second season at Lehigh. In his first year on staff, Joseph helped Lehigh to its 40th EIWA team championship with five individual champions. He worked with wrestlers across all weight classes, but saw middleweights Logan Rozynski and Max Brignola claim individual EIWA titles.
A four-time All-American wrestling for Penn State, Joseph won NCAA titles as a first-year (2017) and a sophomore (2018) before finishing as the national runner-up as a junior in 2019. Joseph was a first-team NWCA All-American as a senior when the NCAA Tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
Michael (pronounced Meh-KALE) McGee is a three-time All-American and four-time conference champion on the mats, who comes to Bethlehem after two seasons as the recruiting coordinator at Arizona State.
"Michael McGee comes to Lehigh with a championship pedigree as a three-time All-American, who has beaten NCAA Champions in both collegiate and freestyle competition," Dillon said. "Michael is someone we have had our eye on for a while; our staff is excited to welcome him to Bethlehem. We fully anticipate Michael making an immediate impact on our squad. He will serve as an elite workout partner and coach to our lightweights."
Competing for the Sun Devils, McGee went 64-11 in three seasons. He earned three All-America medals at 133, finishing sixth in 2021, fourth in 2022 and third in 2023. McGee also captured Pac-12 titles in his final two seasons at ASU. As a senior, McGee was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Year by InterMat and was recognized as a NWCA Scholar All-American following the 2022-23 season.
McGee spent his first three seasons at Old Dominion University, where he won back-to-back MAC titles at 125 in 2018 and 2019.
In addition to his time on staff at Arizona State, McGee competed for Atreus Wrestling RTC and finished sixth at 61 kg at the 2025 U.S. Open.
A native of Bolingbrook, Ill., where he won two state titles at Plainfield East, McGee graduated from Arizona State in 2023 with a degree in sport management.
The 2026-27 Lehigh wrestling season is presented by the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.
