Why Lehigh? “Lehigh offers more than other schools could.  With great academics, athletics, and coaches Lehigh was the total package.”

In 2003-04:    Won five straight bouts to take seventh place in NCAAs and earn first All-American medal, picking up four bonus wins on the way … ranked in top-ten all season long … went 16-2 in dual matches, running his record to 31-4 all-time in duals … fell in a very close EIWA final to Penn’s Doug McGraw, losing in overtime … lost two of first three matches on the season, but then reeled off 17 straight wins before the EIWA final

In 2002-03:  Won EIWA Championship at 133 ... won 19 straight matches entering the NCAA Championships, after dropping his first two collegiate matches ... beat Iowa All-American Cliff Moore in duals … shut out Penn State’s Josh Moore (9-0) and Nebraska’s Joey Malia (5-0) in back-to-back wins at the Virginia Duals ... went a span of 12 matches in which he picked up 11 bonus wins, with the lone decision in the streak a shutout of Malia ... ranked sixth in the nation at 133

In 2001-02:  Transferred to Lehigh from Minnesota where he deferred his eligibility… finished second at the FILA Junior World Championships and sixth at the University Nationals wrestling for the Lehigh Wrestling Club.

In secondary school: Ranked one of the nation’s top wrestlers… First Team All-America selection by ASICS and Amateur Wrestling News… amassed a 172-13 career record with a sparkling 126-1 record over his final three seasons… won four National Prep titles and was a two-time Beast of the East and three-time Iron Man champion… placed second at Junior Nationals in freestyle and third at the Cadet Nationals in 1999.
