Lehigh hosts Brown and White dual

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Lehigh returned to the water on Saturday morning as the Mountain Hawks hosted a Brown and White dual on the Lehigh River. The coaching staff split the entire team into even squads by gender based upon recent training times and the races afforded the newest members of the team an opportunity to see how they stack up during race competition. Lehigh Director of Rowing Liz Meltzer was pleased with how the day played out. “This was a great day for the Brown AND the White regardless of the end results,” Meltzer commented. “It was a good way to show the novice walk-ons what they can look forward to and I was impressed with the guidance shown by our leaders in the program.”
Lehigh returns to action on Saturday, October 4 when the Mountain Hawks host Loyola College and Franklin and Marshall on the Lehigh River in a three school race. Action gets underway at 10:00 AM from Allentown.
