BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's rowing senior Catherine Hilow has been named to 2025 Academic All-Patriot League women's rowing team, as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.
The Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Academic All-Patriot League teams are voted on by the league's sports information directors. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. First-years or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
Hilow graduates from Lehigh with a 3.71 cumulative GPA in political science. She is a three-time Patriot League Honor Roll recipient, seven-time Faculty Athletics Council Award winner (above 3.2 GPA) and a four-time Deans List selection (above 3.6 GPA). In addition, Hilow maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring 2024 semester.
Hilow was the recipient of Lehigh's Sportsmanship Award at the 2025 Convocation. The award recognizes the top graduating student-athlete across all sports who demonstrates ethical conduct, fair play, and good sporting behavior in his or her daily participation in intercollegiate athletics and has demonstrated good citizenship outside of the competitive sports setting.
In the 2025 spring season, Hilow primarily competed with Lehigh's first varsity eight.
