Mark Wirth begins his second season on the Lehigh staff in 2017 and first as Director of Lacrosse Operations. A former lacrosse player at Lock Haven University from 2012-15, Wirth saw time at both faceoff and defensive midfield.

Wirth was a camp counselor and the head specialist for lacrosse and football at the KenMont and KenWood Camp. While there, he created lesson plans for day-to day lessons with youngsters while helping develop the campers in all areas - physically, mentally, socially and technically. Wirth also has experience as volunteer coach across several sports, including fifth grade girls basketball, pee-wee football and pee-wee wrestling.

A local product out of Bethlehem, Wirth stayed active at Lock Haven. Along with his time playing lacrosse, he was part of the Sport Administration Society, Colleges Against Cancer, ROTC and was Vice Present of AHPERD. Wirth was an Event Coordinator of Turkey Trot in 2014, raising over $4,000 for Carly Shoemaker. He was a student mentor in the Lock Haven Center of Excellence and Inclusion, advising students of all ages as they pursue a Lock Haven degree. Wirth was also a student ambassador at Lock Haven from 2013 through 2015.

Wirth graduated last May from Lock Haven as a Sport Administration major. He has a Health and Physical Education Concentration in Coaching along with a Sport and Exercise Psychology minor.
