BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's lacrosse rolled to a 7-3 win over Loyola Saturday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The Mountain Hawks improved to 3-6 (2-2 PL), while the Greyhounds dropped to 0-9 (0-4 PL).

Lehigh's defense stood out on Saturday, limiting Loyola to a season-low three goals. Senior attackman Andrew Kelly opened the scoring just 58 seconds into the game, and the Mountain Hawks held the lead for the remaining 59 minutes. Kelly led the charge offensively with a game-high four points (3G, 1A).

Sophomore attackman Luke Winkler (2G) and junior defenseman Luke McAuliffe (1G, 1A) also recorded multiple points for Lehigh.

McAuliffe extended Lehigh's lead to two goals just two minutes into the game. The Mountain Hawks held a 3-0 lead after the first quarter, with Kelly scoring his second goal of the afternoon at 7:06 remaining.

Kelly then completed a first-half hat trick, putting Lehigh ahead 4-0 with 9:04 to play in the second quarter.

Loyola responded with a goal from Henry Haberman at 7:21 of the second period, making it 4-1, which would be the score heading into halftime.

Haberman quickly tallied his second goal to open the third quarter, cutting Lehigh's lead to 4-2, but the Mountain Hawks finished the quarter with a 3-0 run to pull away.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kasey Heath was stellar, recording a career-high 81.3% save percentage with just three goals allowed and 13 saves. Heath has finished with double-digit saves in all nine of Lehigh's games this season. He also set career-highs with two caused turnovers and eight ground balls.

Senior faceoff specialist Sean Dow went 8-of-13 at the stripe, securing five ground balls. Sophomore Connor Riley went 1-of-1 at the faceoff "X."
