PRINCETON, N.J. – Lehigh men's lacrosse suffered a 17-12 loss to No. 4 Princeton in the Mountain Hawks' non-league finale on Tuesday night at Class of 1952 Stadium. The Mountain Hawks dropped to 3-7 on the season, while the Tigers improved to 7-2.

Princeton opened the scoring just two minutes into the game and would hold the lead for the remainder of the contest. The Tigers went up 2-0 with 9:35 left in the first quarter, but Lehigh answered with back-to-back goals from Dakota Eierman and Luke Winkler, tying the game at 2-2.

Princeton scored the final two goals of the first quarter, taking a 4-2 advantage into the second frame. The Tigers would maintain a multi-goal lead for the remainder of the game.
The second quarter featured a scoring barrage, with Princeton outscoring Lehigh 7-5 to take a 12-7 lead into halftime.

The Tigers continued to push in the second half, never allowing Lehigh to cut the deficit to fewer than four goals.

Fellow senior midfielder Dakota Eierman added two goals, while junior midfielder Grant Rodny and first-year attackman Colin French each scored twice.
