Theodoropoulos Named to Inaugural Coach Liam Gleason Humanitarian Award Class

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The inaugural class for the Coach Liam Gleason Humanitarian Award has been announced, with one recipient selected from each school. Representing Lehigh, senior Peter Theodoropoulos has been named among the 2026 honorees.
"Peter is the heart and soul of our team," said head coach Will Scudder. "He is a solo captain who has the unique ability to bring infectious energy each and every day while holding his teammates accountable."
Theodoropoulos started all 14 regular-season games this season, tallying 18 points and collecting 10 ground balls while providing senior leadership on and off the field throughout the year.
Seventy-seven NCAA Division I men's lacrosse student-athletes, along with Kennedy Gleason, daughter of Coach Liam Gleason, were selected for the award.
Established in January 2026 by family members, former coaches and friends close to Liam Gleason, the Liam Gleason Humanitarian Award honors individuals who exemplify leadership, unwavering support for teammates and staff, outstanding sportsmanship and meaningful community involvement.
Each NCAA Division I men's lacrosse program selected one student-athlete from its team to receive the Liam Gleason Humanitarian Award at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Voted on by players, coaches and staff, the award recognizes the individual whose teammates most aspire to emulate.
