BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore Kasey Heath was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon. Heath had a stellar performance in Lehigh's 7-3 victory over Loyola, recording a career-high 81.3% save percentage, eight ground balls, and two caused turnovers while tallying 13 saves.

Heath currently ranks seventh in the nation in saves per game (13.89) and 12th in save percentage (58.4%). The Chester, Md. native has recorded double-digit saves in each of Lehigh's nine games this season. This is the first time in Heath's career that he has earned the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week honor.

Heath and the Lehigh men's lacrosse team will travel to No. 4 Princeton for their non-league finale on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Mountain Hawks are 3-6 overall, while the Tigers are 6-2.

In addition to Heath's weekly award, Luke McAuliffe and Sean Dow earned Patriot League Honorable Mention accolades. McAuliffe held Loyola's leading scorer, Matthew Mincus, scoreless, while also contributing a goal and an assist. Dow won 8-of-13 faceoff attempts against the Greyhounds and collected five ground balls.

Offensively, Andrew Kelly led the charge for Lehigh against Loyola, recording a team-high four points (3G, 1A). Kelly netted a first-half hat trick, helping Lehigh to a 4-1 halftime lead, and the Mountain Hawks maintained control throughout the game.

Junior defenseman Richard Checo also stood out, tallying a game-high six caused turnovers. Checo ranks first in the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.11).

Tuesday's game will mark the fifth time this season Lehigh faces a ranked opponent. The Mountain Hawks are 1-4 in those games, with their lone victory coming against then-No. 18 Navy on March 7.
Lehigh and Princeton met last season, with the Tigers emerging victorious in a 12-10 contest. The Mountain Hawks led 8-5 at one point, but Princeton closed the game on a 7-5 run.

The Tigers are coming off an 11-8 win over Dartmouth, with Colin Burns (3G, 1A), Coulter Mackesy (3G, 1A), and Nate Kabiri (2G, 2A) each recording four points.

Mackesy leads Princeton with a team-high 34 points, scoring 25 goals and adding nine assists. Kabiri is second with 24 points (12G, 12A).

Lehigh holds a 3-16-1 all-time record against Princeton. The Mountain Hawks last defeated the Tigers 14-13 in 2017.

Next, Lehigh will travel to Worcester, Mass., to take on Holy Cross on Saturday at 12 p.m.
