WHY LEHIGH? “I chose Lehigh because it is a well-respected academic institution, because the lacrosse program is competitive and on the rise, and because of the apparent close-knit nature of the team. I believe that I will be challenged to be better every single day, whether that be in the classroom, on the field, etc. I also loved the gritty feel within the lacrosse program and wanted to be surrounded by like-minded people who feel like they have something to prove every day.”

AS A SENIOR (2024): Another amazing season...named Lehigh's graduating scholar athlete of the year and the graduating male athlete of the year... landed on the first team All-Patriot League for the third straight season...earned Inside Lacrosse honorable mention All-America honors for the second year in a row... became Lehigh's all-time leading goal scorer (131 career goals) in Patriot League championship win over Boston University..led the team with 49 points (41G, 8A)...recorded 11 multiple-point games..named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week two times this season (2/19), (4/22)..scored a career-tying seven points against Cornell (6G, 1A)...tallied two goals in NCAA First Round game against Johns Hopkins (named.a Patriot League All-Academic honoree for the third year in a row...named to the CSC Academic All-District team...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

AS A JUNIOR (2023):Had an outstanding season…Was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and was Lehigh’s first honoree since 2015…also landed on the first team All-Patriot League…earned USILA, Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Magazine honorable mention All-American honors...named the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year…was selected to the College Sports Communicators At-Large Team…had 14 multiple point games…scored seven game-winning goals...led the league and was eighth in the nation in goals per game (3.27)....also led the league in points per game and was fifth in the nation (5.00)...had seven points in the season opener against Fairfield (2/11)...scored six points vs. Hobart (2/18)...recorded a career-high of seven goals against Binghamton (3/7)...had six goals and an assist in second-ever win against Loyola (4/28)...Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022): Named first team All-Patriot League after one of the best seasons as a midfielder in program history … Started all 15 games … Finished second on the Mountain Hawks in goals (30) and third in points (40) … Goals per game (2.00) were 11th in the Patriot League and points per contest (2.67) good for 16th … Finished with nine multi-goal games, 14 multi-point games and five hat tricks … Three man-up goals were tied for the team lead … Second on the team with 85 shots, while 63 shots on goal were first … Added 12 groundballs and two caused turnovers … Was an Academic All-Patriot League honoree …10th straight multi-point game to end the season, recording a goal and assist in the Patriot League Semifinals at No. 16 Boston University (5/6) … Recorded two goals and an assist in the quarterfinals against Navy (5/3) … Tied a career-high five points with three goals and two assists in the regular season finale at Loyola (4/29) … Scored twice and added a groundball in the regular season vs. No. 15 BU (4/23). Included was a behind-the-back highlight-reel score. Recorded a goal, assist and groundball at Colgate (4/16) … Also had five points (three goals, two assists) against Bucknell (4/10) … Had two goals, two groundballs and a caused turnover at Lafayette (4/2) … Tallied a goal and assist in consecutive games, at Binghamton (3/29) and three days prior vs. No. 5 Georgetown (3/26) … Netted a hat trick, along with two groundballs and a caused turnover at No. 9 Army West Point (3/19) … Posted a goal and groundball vs. Holy Cross (3/13) … Finished with two goals and a groundball in the league opener against Navy (3/5) … Tallied three goals and two groundballs vs. No. 14 Cornell (2/26) … Recorded a career-high four goals at Hobart (2/19) … Opened the season with a goal and assist at NJIT (2/12) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
 
AS A FIRST-YEAR (2021): Strong rookie season … Played in all 12 games, starting six and posted 11 goals (tied for fifth on the team) and two assists … Collected 15 groundballs … Fired 38 shots, 23 on goal (both fifth on the Mountain Hawks) … Named a finalist for the J. Daniel Nolan Award, presented to Lehigh Athletics’ top first-year male student-athlete … Scored a big second-quarter goal in the NCAA Tournament against No. 9 Rutgers (5/15) … Collected three groundballs in the Patriot League Semifinals vs. Colgate (5/7) … Dished an assist against Lafayette (4/18) … Two days prior, had one goal, one assist and two groundballs at Lafayette (4/16). Marked seventh straight game with a goal to begin career … Had one goal and a career-high four groundballs against No. 19 Navy (4/10) to earn Patriot League Rookie of the Week … Scored twice, including a man-up goal, in win over No. 7 Army West Point (4/3) … Tallied a goal and groundball at Colgate (3/28) and at Bucknell (3/14) … Posted a goal and two groundballs vs. No. 10 Loyola (3/6) … Began career with three goals and two groundballs in season opener against NJIT (2/27) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
 
BEFORE LEHIGH: Cole was a two-year starter, three-year varsity lacrosse player and senior captain at McDonogh School … As a junior, tallied 27 goals and nine assists … Shined at the 2018 Inside Lacrosse Mid-Atlantic Prospect Day … Selected as Player of the Game by the MIAA Game of the Week crew in the last regular season game against Gilman in 2019 … In a game with playoff implications, had three goals and an assist to propel McDonogh into the postseason … In 2017, was the McDonogh Billy Geist Award winner (presented to the most consistent player) … Academically, was inducted into the McDonogh Chapter of the Cum Laude Society.
