Lehigh Travels To Lafayette For Regular Season Finale

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh Mountain Hawks (5-9, 2-6 PL) travel to rival Lafayette (6-9, 2-6 PL) for the regular season finale in Easton on Wednesday.Â

Lehigh heads into the matchup coming off an 11-10 loss to Colgate on Saturday. Ang Pino and Kacie Wines led Lehigh with three goals apiece.

Molly Snow leads the Mountain Hawks with 32 goals and 18 assists. Wines ranks second in points with 38 off 22 goals and 16 assists. Pino sits in second in scoring with 26 goals, while adding two assists.

Lafayette heads into the contest after an 18-4 loss to No. 22 Navy on Saturday. Sara Rogers scored three of the Leopards' four goals.Â

Sophia Spallone leads the Leopards with 31 points off 24 goals and seven assists. Molly Terraciano has been a mainstay in net, recording a .389 save percentage and 12.93 goals against average.

Last season, Lafayette defeated Lehigh 11-10 in double-overtime. Lehigh does not return any scorers from the last matchup between the two teams. Emma Eberhardt led the Mountain Hawks with five goals.

Lehigh and Lafayette are tied for seventh place in the Patriot League standings. The Mountain Hawks need a win over the Leopards, combined with a Holy Cross victory over Boston University and a Loyola victory over Bucknell to clinch the final spot in the upcoming Patriot League Tournament.Â
