BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior running back Luke Yoder has been selected to the 15-player watch list for the Walter Camp FCS Player of the Year award.
The award, in its third year of existence, is presented by Crabtree Lexus of New Haven and will be announced in mid-December.
Yoder ranks second in the Patriot League and eighth nationally in rushing yards, gaining 1,095 on 168 carries with 11 touchdowns. He recently became just the second Lehigh player to post multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons, with his current mark following a 1,014-yard campaign in 2024.
The owner of five 100-yard rushing games this season, Yoder rushed for a career-high 174 yards at Bucknell on Sept. 20, and gained 173 the following week against Penn. He has four multi-touchdown games this season.
The watch list for the Walter Camp FCS Player of the Year award includes five running backs, four quarterbacks, three wide receivers and three defensive players.
The Mountain Hawks (11-0, 6-0 PL) will head to Lafayette Saturday for the 161st meeting of college football's most-played rivalry, with game time set for 12:30 p.m. from Fisher Stadium in Easton, Pa.
