Lehigh Football Adds Eight Newcomers to #TheNest

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Vandergrift Family Head Football Coach Kevin Cahill announced the addition of eight student-athletes to the Lehigh football program on Wednesday's National Signing Day. The Mountain Hawks have added five student-athletes to their class of 2030, with two players signing on Wednesday and three others joining the incoming class after the initial December announcement.
In addition, Lehigh has added three student-athletes to the current roster from the transfer portal.
"We are excited to add high quality people to our Lehigh football family," Cahill said. "Naturally, we are drawn to these high-quality football players, but the character of these men will continue to build our program in the direction we want to go."
Joining the program Wednesday are linebacker Josh Lenart from Norwin in western Pennsylvania and offensive lineman Bryce Willey from Malvern Prep.
The three incoming first-year additions since the December signing day announcement included Lehigh Valley products Jake Pukszyn and Silas Day and offensive lineman Case Jacobson from California.
Lehigh's three additions from the portal are wide receiver Landon Kennel from Lancaster, Pa., by way of Monmouth; running back Trey Tremba from Slatington, Pa., and Army West Point; and safety TJ Hill from Westhampton Beach, N.Y., who comes from Arkansas State.
"Our coaches, players, administration and campus community worked hard to find the right fits for Lehigh football," Cahill said. "This class will certainly help #TheNest grow beyond previously viewed limits."
The additions to the Class of 2030 join the 16 student-athletes that signed in December, with the current incoming first-year class now at 21.
