Senior Luke Yoder totaled four touchdowns, pushing his season total to seven in two games. His 20-yard touchdown run with 9:18 left in the second quarter, his second touchdown of the day, sparked a run of 38 unanswered points by the Mountain Hawks, who took control.
Yoder carried 17 times for 120 yards and three touchdowns and also caught two passes for 23 yards, including a seven-yard touchdown.
Junior quarterback Hayden Johnson had the best day of his career, completing 16-of-19 for a career-high 271 yards and two touchdowns. He completed passes to eight different receivers. Sophomore Anthony Feaster led the way with four catches for 113 yards.
Lehigh's defense opened the game with a 3-and-out and the offense went to work with an 11-play, 68-yard drive capped by a Yoder four-yard scoring run.
Georgetown (0-1, 0-1 PL) scored its only points on a 22-yard fumble return touchdown by Michael Bonsu early in the second quarter.
Yoder's go-ahead touchdown capped a seven-play, 78-yard drive. Lehigh scored again with 2:34 left in the half as Johnson bought time, rolled right and hit Yoder on the far side of the end zone with a seven-yard pass.

Connor Poole's 27-yard field goal put Lehigh up 21-7 at the break.
Yoder scored his fourth touchdown of the day on a nine-yard run with 8:16 left in the third. Lehigh added two more touchdowns in the fourth as Johnson hit tight end Joseph Marranca for a two-yard score and first-year Aidan Mayfield scored on a 12-yard rush. For both Marranca and Mayfield it was their first career touchdowns.

Mayfield finished with 94 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.
Defensively, the Mountain Hawks held the Hoyas to 164 total yards until Georgetown's final touchdown drive.
First-years Josh Lenart and Cayden Vassa led the way with five tackles. Lehigh had three sacks, with sophomore Aidan Williams registering one, senior Andrew Sharga and junior Luke Reilly sharing another and senior Jadin Nelson and sophomore TJ Hill sharing a third. Junior Talan Dudley had his first career interception for Lehigh's lone takeaway.
Fifth-year Nick Peltekian set up Yoder's fourth touchdown with a 56-yard punt return. He also added two tackles.
Lehigh ran 73 plays to Georgetown's 56 with the Mountain Hawks holding the ball for more than 40 minutes.
The Mountain Hawks will open their home schedule next Saturday as Lehigh hosts No. 17/19 William & Mary on 610 Day, presented by JFR Salvage. Game time is set for 2 p.m. from Goodman Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at LehighTickets.com or by calling 610-7LU-GAME during business hours.
EXTRA POINTS… Lehigh is 2-0 for the second consecutive season… the Mountain Hawks have now won 19 straight regular season games, the third-longest streak in program history… Lehigh leads the all-time series 24-7 against Georgetown and is 23-2 against the Hoyas since they joined the Patriot League in 2001… Lenart made his first career start at linebacker… Lehigh did not attempt a punt for the first time since Oct. 29, 2016 against Fordham… Yoder scored four touchdowns for the second time in his last four games dating back to last season… Lehigh limited two Georgetown quarterbacks to 12-of-25 passing for 124 yards and an interception… the Mountain Hawks won despite finishing minus-2 in turnover margin… Lehigh is plus-1 through two games this season.
