BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Four Lehigh football players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District football team, announced Tuesday. The Mountain Hawks were represented by junior defensive back DJ Brown, sophomore wide receiver Matt D'Avino and sophomore offensive linemen Colby Reph and Charles Soska.

To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain competitive benchmarks for games played or games started. Student-athletes who meet this criteria and have significant on-field accomplishments will move on to the Academic All-America ballot. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for Academic All-District or Academic All-America honors.

Brown is now a two-time Academic All-District honoree. He holds a 3.62 GPA in political science and started all 13 games at cornerback in 2025, finishing with 44 tackles and 11 pass breakups.

D'Avino owns a 3.83 GPA in Lehigh's College of Business and Economics. He appeared in all 13 games, with 18 receptions for 257 yards and two touchdowns.

Reph (center) and Soska (left tackle) both started 13 games on one of the top offensive line units in the FCS. Lehigh ranked fifth in the country in rushing, averaging 230.9 yards per game and also ranked fourth in the FCS in fewest sacks allowed.

Academically, Reph is an architecture major with a 3.59 GPA and Soska carries a 3.60 GPA in the College of Business and Economics.

Lehigh won its second consecutive Patriot League championship and league-best 14th overall in 2025 with a 12-1 season.
