BOSTON - Led by three student-athletes with four goals apiece, the Lehigh women's lacrosse team picked up a 14-8 league win over Boston University on Saturday afternoon.

Graduate student Gabby Schneider and senior Olivia Memeger both tallied six points on the afternoon, both off four goals and two assists. Graduate student Emma Eberhardt chipped in four goals.

Memeger surpassed the 100 career goals mark with the first of the game, putting Lehigh up 1-0 on a free position shot. The opening goal spurred a 5-0 run for Lehigh, as Memeger and Eberhardt each tallied two and Schneider contributed one goal.

Boston University responded with two goals before Schneider capped off the quarter with another goal as the Mountain Hawks led 6-2 after the opening quarter.

Memeger opened second-quarter scoring, followed by a goal from graduate student Cassie Marte off an assist from first-year Molly Snow giving Lehigh an 8-2 lead 11:50 remaining in the half. The Terriers responded with a goal just over two minutes later before Lehigh closed out the half with a 3-0 run as Eberhardt, Schneider and Memeger sent the Mountain Hawks into intermission leading 11-3.

The Terriers opened the second half with two quick goals, decreasing the Lehigh lead to 11-5 with 12:02 remaining in the third quarter.

At 8:48 in the third, sophomore Emmie Ridgeway scored her first goal as a Mountain Hawk off a free position shot as Lehigh held a 12-5 advantage.

The teams traded goals with Eberhardt securing a four-goal performance, sending Lehigh into the final quarter up 13-6.

Boston University scored a pair of goals to open the final quarter, but a fourth goal from Schneider sealed the deal as Lehigh held on to win 14-8.

Senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt tallied 16 saves and one ground ball before junior Julia DeLitta relieved her for the final four minutes.

Lehigh (7-4, 3-2 PL) returns home to the Ulrich Sports Complex at noon next Saturday to host Holy Cross for Senior Day and Alumnae Day.
