BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Howard Talmund '77 men's tennis head coach Craig Schwartz announced the team's 2025 spring schedule on Monday morning. The Mountain Hawks will look to build upon their strong fall campaign with a spring schedule that features 22 matches, including 14 matches at home and eight against Patriot League competition.
"I am thrilled about our spring schedule this year," said Schwartz. "We have a great mix of competition, and it's particularly exciting to host a Power 4 program like BYU at the Lehigh Tennis Center. This schedule provides a strong build-up with numerous opportunities to prepare us for the Patriot League portion of the season, ultimately positioning us to compete for a Patriot League Championship."
Lehigh begins the 2025 season in their own backyard, hosting four straight matches at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center to begin the season. The Mountain Hawks open up against Rider on February 2 followed by a visit from BYU on February 8. Lehigh then welcomes Sacred Heart and Mount St. Mary's on the weekend of February 15-16 before rounding out the month with a Patriot League road trip to Colgate on February 23 and a home match against FDU on February 26.
The Mountain Hawks will be at home to begin the month of March as well, welcoming Drexel and LIU to Bethlehem on March 1-2. Lehigh then travels to Texas for spring break from March 9-12 where the team will face the likes of Baylor, Abilene Christian and SMU.
Following spring break, the Mountain Hawks will go on an away trip to western Pennsylvania to face Duquesne on March 22 and Saint Francis on March 23. After a midweek clash against Villanova at home on March 26, Lehigh will begin Patriot League play against Navy on the road on March 29 followed by a home match against Loyola (Md.) on March 30.
Lehigh begins April with their final non-league opponent of the regular season, hosting NJIT on April 2. The team then faces Army West Point and Boston U. in Bethlehem on the weekend of April 5-6 before heading to Easton for The Rivalry against Lafayette College on April 9.
Lehigh concludes the regular season at home on April 12 in a doubleheader against Bucknell and Holy Cross.
This year's Patriot League Championships will take place on the campus of Bucknell University. The championships will occur from April 17-20 in Lewisburg, Pa.
