Lehigh Sweeps Boston U. 4-0 In West Point

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Lehigh men's tennis played its second game of a weekend trip to West Point on Saturday afternoon against the Boston University Terriers. The Mountain Hawks defeated the Terriers by a score of 4-0.
Lehigh (11-8, 4-1 PL) earned the opening doubles point over BU (7-11, 3-2 PL) after finding wins on courts one and two. Alex Van Lumich and Sean Jaeger picked up a 6-3 win while Wyeth Anzilotti and Henry Stoller defeated their opponents 6-4 on court two. The doubles match on court three was left unfinished.
The Mountain Hawks began singles play with an immediate advantage, as BU forfeited their sixth singles court to Stoller. Lehigh quickly found itself leading 3-0 after Van Lumich earned a win on court one via an early retirement from David Asenov. Ofer Hacohen's 6-3, 6-0 victory on court four secured the sweep for Lehigh.
Singles matches on courts two, three, and five were left unfinished.
The Mountain Hawks are back in action to host rival Lafayette on Tuesday, April 14 at 4 p.m.
