Lehigh Falls To Army In Weekend Trip Opener

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Lehigh men's tennis took on the Army West Point Black Knights on Friday afternoon in a battle of the two top-seeded teams in the Patriot League. The Black Knights came away victorious by a score of 4-0.

Lehigh (10-8, 3-1 PL) dropped the opening doubles point to Army (16-8, 4-0 PL) after dropping 7-5 and 6-2 decisions on courts one and three. Wyeth Anzilotti and Henry Stoller's match on court two was left unfinished with the score tied 5-5.

Daniel Choi got things started in singles play for the Black Knights with a two-set victory over Stoller at number five. Jimin Jung then defeated Kosei Ogata in two sets to bring Army within one win of the clinch. Matias Feoli's two-set win over Benedict Horn-Bourque at number four secured the win for Army.

Singles matches on courts one, three, and six were left unfinished.

The Mountain Hawks will face Boston University on West Point's campus on Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m.
