Lehigh Falls To William & Mary In Spring Break Finale

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Lehigh men's tennis concluded its spring break trip to North Carolina on Friday morning against William & Mary. The Mountain Hawks fell by a score of 4-1.
Lehigh (6-7) won the opening doubles point over William & Mary (6-6) despite the Tribe winning court one by a score of 6-3. A 6-2 triumph from Wyeth Anzilotti and Henry Stoller on court two and a 7-5 win for Kosei Ogata and Rafael Gracie on court three secured the doubles point for the Mountain Hawks.
The Tribe struck first in singles play with a 6-2, 7-6 win for Gur Trakhtenberg over Sean Jaeger on court one. Oliver Hague followed suit with a two-set win for William & Mary on court two. Austin Cohen's win over Kosei Ogata on court four put the Tribe one win away from clinching the dual meet. Despite battling to a third set, Benedict Horn-Bourque fell to William & Mary's Nikita Bortnichek at number three to secure the win for the Tribe.
Singles matches at numbers five and six were left unfinished.
The Mountain Hawks will have an extended break away from the court, returning on March 28 at home to open Patriot League play against Navy.
