Lehigh to Conclude Regular Season on Thursday

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Lehigh women's lacrosse team will host Colgate in the final game of the regular season, Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Mountain Hawks are 10-5 (5-3 PL), and the Raiders are 4-10 (3-5 PL). Lehigh has won its last three games, and Colgate is coming off of a 16-15 overtime win against American. Colgate is 1-7 on the road this season. A loss would knock the Raiders out of the Patriot League Tournament.

Kyra Lucey scored the game-winning goal for the Raiders. Lucey also leads Colgate in points (44). She has recorded 28 assists and 16 goals. 

Junior attacker Olivia Memeger was named a Patriot League honorable mention on Monday after she had seven points (4G, 3A) in the 17-15 win over Holy Cross on Saturday. Memeger also recorded her 100th career point. Memeger is having a career-high season. She has scored 64 points, which is 31 more points than she had in 2022.

Cassie Marte became Lehigh's single-season record holder in draw controls on Saturday. She now has 88 draw controls after surpassing Kayleen Kelly's record of 86 from 2018. Marte is third  in the league in draw controls (5.87) and fifth in caused turnovers per game (1.53). Marte has also scored a career-high 26 points this season. 

Lehigh's starting attack has all scored at least 50 points. Memeger leads the way with 64 points, Gabby Schneider has 62 points, Emma Eberhardt has put up 54 points, and Katia Carnevale has scored 52 points. 

Lehigh is averaging 12.60 goals per game, and Colgate is averaging 9.93 goals per game. 

Junior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt was credited with 10 saves against Holy Cross. It marked the second straight game she had 10 saves. Hunt is second in the Patriot League in saves per game (8.93 saves per game).

Following Thursday's game, the Mountain Hawks will host a Patriot League Quarterfinal game on Sunday at 12 p.m.  against an opponent still to be determined. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
