Norris Leads the Way on Day Two of Patriot League Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – After bringing home a school record on the first day of the Patriot League Championships, the Lehigh men's swimming and diving team backed that up with another successful day on Thursday at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.

Tim Norris led the Mountain Hawks on day two. He was the lone Mountain Hawk in the A-Finals. Norris came in seventh place and tallied 12 points for Lehigh in the 50-yard freestyle (20.28). The Mountain Hawks were also able to get more points in that event. Junior Aiden McCurley picked up a couple of points after he came in 15th place with a time of 20.23.

The men's 400-yard medley relay won the consolation finals in 3:19.55, which gave them a fifth-place finish. Elvin Lee was first on the relay, and Jack Devilbiss, Aaron Williams and Tim Norris all followed Lee.

The men are in sixth place after two days of the Patriot League Championships with a total of 96 points.

Friday's prelims will start at 10 a.m., with the finals set to begin at 6 p.m.

Friday's events will start with the 100-yard butterfly, followed by the 400-yard IM, the 200-yard freestyle, the 200-yard breaststroke and day three will finish with the 100-yard backstroke.
