Mountain Hawks Sit in Sixth Heading into Final Day of Patriots

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Lehigh men's swimming and diving team continued to rack up points on day three of Patriot League Championships at Kinney Natatorium on Friday. The Mountain Hawks sit in sixth place with 133.5 points.Â
Navy leads the way with 627.5 points.Â
Tim Norris has continued to step up big for Lehigh. He anchored the 200-yard freestyle relay team, which finished in fifth (1:21.41). They scored 28 points for Lehigh. Aaron Williams had the start for the relay, and Aiden McCurley, Jack Devilbiss, Norris all followed.Â
Norris, who had a phenomenal performance on day two also racked up five more points by himself in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.45).Â
"Norris continues to move up in the Patriot League," said head coach Rob Herb.
Elvin Lee continued his strong performance, scoring 3.5 points in the 100-yard butterfly. He tied with Colgate's Ryan Jee with a time of 49.48. Williams picked up a point with a 16th-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (49.20).Â
Saturday's events include the 1,650-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard backstroke, the 200-yard breaststroke, the 200-yard butterfly, and the championships will end with the 400- yard freestyle relay .
