Mule' and Sisselberger Earn Patriot League Weekly Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Christian Mule' and Mike Sisselberger both earned Patriot League weekly awards, as announced Monday afternoon by the league.Â
Mule' was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, and Sisselberger was named Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week. Mule' and Sisselberger helped lead Lehigh to a dominant 20-10 win over Fairfield in the season-opener Saturday.Â
Mule' recorded 10 points on Saturday, tallying six goals and four assists. His 10 points tied his career-high, and his four assists marked a career-high. This is the second time Mule' has earned Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors. The last time he achieved the honor was in 2021.Â
Sisselbeger went 19-of-30 from the faceoff "x" on Saturday and tallied 12 ground balls in the 20-10 win vs. Fairfield. This is Sisselbrger's 10th time being named the Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week. He did so three times last year and six times in the 2021 season.Â
Junior goalie Nick Pecora was named an honorable mention after making 12 saves in his first collegiate start against the Stags.Â
Mule' and Sisselberger will be back in action on Saturday at home against Hobart. Game time is set for 12 p.m.Â
