Lehigh Set to Face No. 18/19 Army on Saturday in West Point

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh is set to travel to West Point, N.Y., for a Saturday matchup against No. 18/19 Army. The opening faceoff is set for noon and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Mountain Hawks enter the contest riding a three-game winning streak, improving to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the Patriot League. Last week, Lehigh earned a pair of home victories, defeating Villanova and Holy Cross at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
In a 14-7 win over Villanova on St. Patrick's Day, first-year Finn Morgan led Lehigh with six points on five goals and an assist, while Luke Breslin added a hat trick. Kasey Heath and Bryce Pang split time in goal, combining for a 72% save rate, with Heath making 11 saves and Pang adding four. Connor Riley controlled the faceoff X, winning 11-of-15 faceoffs, collecting six ground balls and scoring a goal.
Lehigh followed with a 13-5 win over Holy Cross on Saturday. Breslin again led the offense with six points on four goals and two assists, while Andrew Kelly added five points (two goals, three assists) and reached the 100th point mark for his career. Morgan added a hat trick, his seventh game this season with three or more goals. Defensively, Harrison Vassel had a career-high three caused turnovers and collected three ground balls, while Ricardo Checo and Morgan each contributed two caused turnovers to help limit the Crusaders to just five goals.
Morgan, who ranks second in the Patriot League in goals per game (3.33), was named Patriot League men's lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, the league announced Monday.
Army enters the matchup at 6-3 overall and 1-2 in Patriot League play, coming off three straight losses. The Black Knights most recently fell 12-11 to No. 5 North Carolina last weekend in Chapel Hill. Their two Patriot League defeats have come against Lafayette and Boston University.
