
Men's Tennis looks to build off its last win with three matches down in Florida

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team (3-3) returns to action this weekend after having a two-week break. The Mountain Hawks will travel down to Orlando for their Spring Break trip, preparing for three matches against James Madison, Bentley and Case Western.
LAST TIME OUT
Lehigh snapped a three-game skid by picking up a dominating win over the Duquesne Dukes, 7-0. The Mountain Hawks won eight of the nine total matches that took place. All six singles players took victories with three of the top four winning in straight sets.
ABOUT JAMES MADISON
The Dukes come into this weekend with a 5-4 mark, winning two of their last three matches. James Madison's victories have come against Georgetown, George Mason, Youngstown State, Richmond and Southern Virginia. Paul Mendoza has a 2-2 record at No. 1 singles, Alvaro Arce is 4-3 at the No. 2 spot.
ABOUT BENTLEY
The Falcons are currently 4-3 on the season, however they're 0-3 in their spring schedule. Daniel Weitz is 2-4 at the No.1 spot, Connor Aulson is 2-3 at the No. 2 spot. In the No. 3 spot, Jordan Soifer is 4-2.
ABOUT CASE WESTERN
The Spartans have an impressive 10-1 record so far in their spring schedule. Case Western has won its last three matches by a 9-0 score. Matthew Chen is a perfect 4-0 at the No. 1 spot for the Spartans, while Anthony Kanam is 5-0 at the No. 5 spot.
PREVIOUS SPRING BREAK
Last year during Spring Break, the Mountain Hawks registered a 2-1 record. Lehigh picked up its lone win against The Citadel, 5-2, while dropping matches to the College of Charleston and Radford.
UP NEXT
The Mountain Hawks host their first Patriot League match of the season, as the Loyola Greyhounds will come into the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center on Sunday, March 15.
