Lehigh Men Cap League Slate with Win Over Bucknell

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks wrapped up their Patriot League slate with a 4-1 victory over Bucknell on Sunday at Racquet Club West in Lancaster, Pa.
Lehigh ended its Patriot League regular season slate with a 5-2 record and has the third-highest league percentage (.714) heading into the postseason. The Bison ended with a 3-4 record in league play and own the sixth-best league winning percentage (.429). LU now has back-to-back five-win seasons in league play.
The Mountain Hawks began the dual by winning two out of the three doubles matches. George Cooper and Graham Lehman capped their league season with a team-best 6-1 record. Jack Petersen and Jack Martin-Dyer ended the league slate with a 5-2 record following a win on Sunday.
Christopher Auteri and Ethan Bogard rolled to two-set victories at the fifth and six flights. Auteri scored a 6-3, 6-2 win to improve his record to 3-5 overall, 3-3 in the league. Following a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the sixth spot, Bogard is now 9-4 overall and finished 4-1 in league play.
Jack Petersen clinched the victory following a three-set victory at the second flight. The junior defeated Max Palmer 7-6(5), 2-6, 6-4 as he is now 7-12 overall and finishes 5-2 in the league.
Lehigh will close out the regular season with one final home match on Tuesday. LU will host Villanova at 3:30 p.m. at the Ulrich Courts.
