Nardella Notches Win as Lehigh Falls at Temple

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team opened its two-match weekend road stand with a 6-1 setback at Temple on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks fall to 6-12 overall, while the Owls concluded their regular season with a record of 17-9.

Senior Colin Nardella captured Lehigh's lone victory on the day as he played in his first at the No. 2 flight this season. Nardella defeated Temple's Florian Mayer, 6-2, 4-6, 10-1 to improve his overall record to 8-8 on the season.

The Mountain Hawks rested a few of the regular starters and shuffled the lineup in Saturday's dual at Temple as they prep for their Patriot League regular season finale against Bucknell on Easter Sunday. The match was rescheduled from April 4 due to inclement weather conditions.

Sunday's match against the Bison will has been moved up to a 12 p.m. start time and has been relocated to Racquet Club West in Lancaster, Pa.
