2013 Lehigh Football season tickets now on sale

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh football season tickets are now on sale for the general public as of Friday, May 24. Earlier this month, season ticket renewal forms were sent out to those who previously held tickets, and now all Lehigh football fans have the opportunity to purchase a package that includes tickets to all five regular season home games including the 149th meeting between Lehigh and archrival Lafayette.
For $95, fans receive a chairback reserved seat to all five home games, while for $75 fans can purchase general admission season tickets. The only way to ensure tickets to the annual Lehigh – Lafayette contest is to buy season tickets or a mini plan.For the fifth straight year, Lehigh Athletics is offering mini-plans, all three of which includes a ticket to the Lehigh-Lafayette game. Any of the three plans can be purchased for $61 (chairback) or $51 (general admission). The “Tradition” mini-plan features the Central Connecticut State, Georgetown and Lafayette games, while the “Passion” mini-plan consists of the New Hampshire, Georgetown and Lafayette games. The “Pride” mini-plan includes games against New Hampshire, Holy Cross and Lafayette.
All Alumni that do not purchase a season ticket or a mini plan may place a request for tickets to the Lehigh-Lafayette game, but they will not be guaranteed tickets and will not find out the result of their request until October 11. Available tickets will depend on the number of season and mini plan packages sold.
Lehigh is coming off its third straight ten win season in 2012. The Mountain Hawks posted a 10-1 overall record and ended their season with a 38-21 win at Lafayette for their fifth straight win over their arch rivals. Lehigh owns an impressive 31-6 record over the last three seasons, with two wins in the NCAA FCS Playoffs. The Mountain Hawks return two All-Patriot League selections in senior linebacker Nigel Muhammad and junior offensive lineman Ned Daryoush. At the end of Lehigh's spring practice segment, Muhammad was named one of four senior team captains, joining wide receiver Lee Kurfis, running back Keith Sherman and safety Tyler Ward.
The Mountain Hawks will open their 2013 campaign at Goodman Stadium on September 7 against the Blue Devils of Central Connecticut State.
