Lehigh set to open home slate Sunday vs. FDU

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team will open up its home schedule on Sunday when the Mountain Hawks welcome the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights to the Lewis Tennis Center. The Mountain Hawks are looking for their first win of the season after falling to No. 69 Penn State 6-1 last Sunday in University Park, Pa.

The Mountain Hawks played well against the Nittany Lions, but despite sending three singles matches to a third set, Lehigh's only point came from sophomore Andrew Krentz at No. 6 singles. Senior Troy List and freshman Mark Goldberg also won sets at No. 1 and No. 4 singles respectively.

Sunday's match marks the first of a ten match home stand for Lehigh, which will face Stetson and Georgetown next weekend.

Fairleigh Dickinson will open its season Sunday afternoon. The Knights were 7-12 a year ago, including a 4-3 win over Lehigh in Bethlehem last January. All ten players on FDU's roster hail from outside the United States.

Sunday's match gets underway at 1 p.m. from Lehigh's Lewis Tennis Center.
