Lehigh to host American and Colgate this weekend

Lehigh wraps up a four-match home stand this weekend as the Mountain Hawks will host American on Saturday and Colgate on Sunday. All three teams will be jockeying for position in the upcoming Patriot League tournament, which gets underway April 22 at Army.
The Mountain Hawks suffered their first league loss on Thursday, falling to the Black Knights 6-1. The lone winner for the Brown and White was junior Gwen Dwyer who was victorious at first singles, and improved to 2-0 in Patriot League matches this season, while occupying the number one singles spot.
American comes in with a 2-5 record after falling to
Lehigh defeated both American and Colgate last season on the Mountain Hawks’ way to the Patriot League tournament. The Brown and White rolled past the Eagles 6-1 and then defeated the Raiders by a 5-2 score.
Action gets underway Saturday at 11:00 am when Lehigh hosts American, and then on Sunday, the Mountain Hawk women will kick-off a Lehigh-Colgate tennis doubleheader with an 10:00 am match. Both matches will be played at the
