Shook earns Coach of the Year honors

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh tennis coach Dave Shook was honored recently as the 2003 College Coach of the Year by the U.S. Tennis Association’s Middle States Section. The award comes on the heels of his being named the Eastern Pennsylvania District's Coach of the year at their annual meeting and awards presentation.
Shook led the Lehigh women’s team to an 11-7 record last season and the men to a 7-9 finish. He is the all-time winningest coach in Lehigh tennis history, going into his 15th year working with Lehigh tennis. He also has been writing recently for Tennis Week Magazine, publishing a full page article in the largest tennis magazine in the country. The team have just begun their seasons, as the men defeated Temple this weekend and the women lost to Rutgers.
