Lehigh handles Rider with ease

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh extended its winning streak to three matches defeating Rider 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at the outdoor courts on the Goodman Campus. The Mountain Hawks improved to 10-6 overall on the season with the win while Rider fell to 1-3 overall. Lehigh won all but one match in straight sets cruising to the easy win. The Mountain Hawks took all three singles matches and swept the singles. Ryann Cann and Ty Esler won easily at number one and number two respectively. Andrew Shapiro dropped the first set at number but four but quickly rebounded to win the next two 6-0 and 6-2. Lehigh returns to action on Sunday when it hosts American at 10:00. Singles
