Lehigh falls to Bucknell in Quarterfinals

Hamilton, NY – Lehigh’s season came to an end on Saturday afternoon when the Mountain Hawks lost to Bucknell 5-1 in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament. After capturing the doubles point by winning two out three, Lehigh failed to win a singles match. Gary Drozdowski’s three set loss to Scott Allen at number two singles was the closest the Mountain Hawks came to winning a singles match. Lehigh finishes the season 8-9 overall while Bucknell heads to the semifinals of the Patriot League tournament where it will take on top seeded Army. Second seeded Navy plays third seeded Colgate in the other semifinal. #4 Bucknell 5, #5 Lehigh 1
