Lehigh heads to Army; Sunday match postponed

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh’s scheduled non-league tennis match against West Chester, set for Sunday at 10 a.m. has been postponed. No make-up date has been announced. The Mountain Hawks will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to West Point, N.Y. to take on Patriot League rival Army. Lehigh (5-12) dropped its Patriot League opener to Colgate last Sunday in Syracuse, N.Y. and will look to even its league record against an Army team that has been a mainstay in the Patriot League finals over the last six seasons.
The Black Knights enter Saturday’s match at 4-10 and will face Hofstra at 1 p.m. before opening their league schedule against the Brown and White.
The Lehigh-Army match is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start from West Point, N.Y. With Sunday’s postponement, Lehigh’s next match will be on Thursday when the Mountain Hawks welcome rival Lafayette to town for a 3 p.m. match.
