Mountain Hawks open play at Bucknell Fall Invite

LEWISBURG, Pa. – After 36 holes of play at the Bucknell Fall Invite the Lehigh men’s golf team sits in eighth place with a score of 595 (302, 293). The host Bison currently lead the field with a 567 (291, 276), with Canisius in second with a score of 576 (284, 292), followed by Robert Morris (292, 285 = 577), Laval (293, 297 = 590) and Lafayette (299, 292 = 591). Lehigh’s top performer on Friday was sophomore Doug Marcincin who shot a 142 (73, 69) and currently sits four shots off the lead which is held by Bucknell’s Andrew Cohen who is currently two under par (70, 68 = 138).
Other Mountain Hawks that participated on Friday include Tim Rosenhouse who is tied for 21st place with a 148 (76, 72), Dwight D’Iorio who shot a 153 (80, 73) and is tied for 42nd place, Steve Suarez, who is tied for 51st place with a 156 (75, 81), and Sean Keller who shot a 157 (78, 79).
Sitting behind Cohen in the individual standings are his teammates Andrew Wallisch (73, 66 = 139) and Ben Mattingly (72, 68 = 140) in second and third and Max Cahn of Robert Morris who is tied for third with a 140 (75, 65).
