Quinn Lands on Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior Matthew Quinn represents the Mountain Hawks on the Academic All-Patriot League men's golf team, announced Friday.

Quinn leads the Mountain Hawks with a 3.82 GPA as a finance major. He is a two-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and has made Lehigh's Dean's List with a GPA better than 3.60 in four of his first five semesters on campus, including a 4.0 GPA in the spring 2025 semester.

On the course, Quinn played all 27 competitive rounds across 10 tournaments. Quinn led Lehigh with a third place finish at the fall-opening Red Bandanna Invitational and prior to the Patriot League Championship tied for 14th at Lafayette's ABARTA Collegiate Invitational. He tied for 30th at the Patriot League Championship, highlighted by a hole-in-one during the tournament's second round. Quinn had a 75.1 scoring average in 2025-26.

To be eligible for Scholar-Athlete of the Year or the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor. The team is voted on by the league's sports information directors.

Loyola's Eli Spaulding was selected as Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men's golf.
