BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Sedale Threatt is listed as the No. 11 quarterback in the nation for the football championship subdivision (FCS) by the Sports Network. Threatt is set to enter his third season as the Mountain Hawks quarterback having thrown for 3,023 yards and 26 touchdowns during his career to go along with nearly 700 rushing yards.
Last season as a junior, Threatt garnered First-Team All-Patriot League honors as he threw for 2,008 yards and 14 touchdowns and added 310 yards on the ground to go along with a team-best eight rushing touchdowns. The Massachusetts native led the Patriot League in passer efficiency with a rating of 144.66, completing 61.4 percent of his passes along the way. Threatt surpassed the 200-yard passing mark in four of Lehigh’s games and he went a span of 25 quarters without throwing a single interception. Threatt joins Holy Cross’ junior signal caller Dominic Randolph as the lone Patriot League representatives on the list. Randolph checked in at No. 13 in the rankings.
Threatt and the Mountain Hawks kick off the 2007 season on Saturday, September 8 when they welcome Atlantic-10 foe Villanova to Goodman Stadium. Kick-off is set for just after 1:00.
