Lehigh has posted nine consecutive winning seasons with a winning percentage of 78.5 during that time. The Mountain Hawks will take on five teams that are either ranked or received votes in the AGS poll, including Ivy League members Yale,
AGS is the world's largest online community devoted to the FCS. Its poll was created in 2004 to give members of the AGS community a place to voice their opinion, vote for the top 25 FCS programs in the nation, and provide the media and coaches of FCS a valuable resource to gauge general sentiment.
In order to ensure the poll is accurate and fair, a committee of AGS veteran members has established guidelines for voter eligibility and accountability. The AGS poll will be announced weekly throughout the season on Mondays and a final poll will be announced shortly after the national championship game.
AGS also sponsors the national syndicated CSN WAVES show hosted by Ralph Wallace of College Sporting News. It airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. during the season.
Lehigh opens its 2007 season on Saturday, September 8 when the Mountain Hawks welcome the Villanova Wildcats to Goodman Stadium. The game marks the beginning of the 20th season at Goodman and is scheduled to begin at 1:00. Season tickets for the 2007 Lehigh football season go on sale on Friday, June 15, and single game tickets will be available beginning on Tuesday, June 26.
