Patriot League holds annual Media Day Event

Coen offered his thoughts on his upcoming inaugural season. “It’s everything I thought it would be and more,” Coen said. “It’s certainly an exciting time of the year, once you get to early August, you know preseason camp is right around the corner and you start to build the anticipation. I’m happy with the way our team worked over the summer with so many guys staying on campus to get ready for the season, and we’re ready to get to work next week (with preseason camp).”
Also on Tuesday, the Patriot League released its annual poll. Lehigh received three first place votes and 57 total points, as the Mountain Hawks were selected to finish third. Defending co-champions Colgate and Lafayette were picked one and two, respectively with Holy Cross, Fordham, Bucknell and
Lehigh, winner of seven Patriot League Championships – more than any other league member – looks to build upon its winning tradition when the team opens its 2006 camp next week. The Mountain Hawks – owners of the best winning percentage in all of Division I-AA over the past eight seasons – will open their season on Saturday, September 2 when they host
