Cardwell captures Patriot League honors

Cardwell notched his second interception of the night in the fourth quarter, returning that pick to the
Cardwell has recorded three interceptions so far this season, bringing his career total to four. He also becomes the second Lehigh defensive back to return an interception for a touchdown. In week one, senior Neal Boozer-Gallman brought back a pass 98-yards for a score.
Despite the lopsided road victory on Saturday, the pollsters apparently were not impressed. In the latest Sports Network survey, Lehigh dropped one spot to No. 25 nationally. The Mountain Hawks remain in the 25th spot in the ESPN/USA Today poll.
Lehigh does not play on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks return to the gridiron on October 2 when Lehigh hosts
