Lehigh set to begin spring practice Friday night

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh will return to the Whitehead Practice Fields Friday night on the Goodman Campus, as the Mountain Hawks begin their spring practice. Friday’s workout begins three weeks of practice and training that leads up to the spring football game on April 17th. The spring drills were originally slated to begin Wednesday, but the opening of practice was delayed two days because of inclement weather in the Lehigh Valley. However, temperatures for Friday’s opening session are forecast to be in the mid-60’s when action gets underway at 7:15 pm. Following Friday’s practice, the team will be back on the fields on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Action will begin each day at 2:45. Beginning next week, the team will commence its regular practice schedule, which includes practices on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The annual Brown and White spring football game will take place inside Goodman Stadium on April 17, and is open to the public free of charge.
