Borowsky leads Lehigh's efforts at Princeton

Princeton, NJ – Freshman Alan Borowsky shot a six-over par 148 to lead Lehigh at the two-day Princeton Invitational. The event – held Friday and Saturday – took place at the par 71 Springdale Golf Club.
As a team, the Mountain Hawks shot a 622 overall, to finish in a tie for 17th place. The host Princeton Tigers posted a 583 to win the event. Through the first day of competition, Borowsky shot a one-under par 70, to end the day in a tie for second place overall. Borowski shot a 78 on Saturday, to finish six strokes over par. His two day total of 148 placed him in a tie for 17th place overall. Other Lehigh golfers competing in the event included sophomore Nam-Kyu Park, who shot a posted a 155 (75-80). Junior Patrick McCahill (81-78-159), freshman Will Weihenmayer (80-81-161), and junior John Jaravata (82-80-162) rounded out the Lehigh scoring. Navy’s Billy Hurley continued to make his push for Patriot League Golfer of the Year honors, posting another tournament victory. Hurley (68-71-139) was the only golfer to finish under par in the entire field, wrapping up play three strokes under. Lehigh resumes spring competition on Tuesday, April 20, when the Mountain Hawks participate in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational.
